Is PV wire different from ordinary building wire?
Yes, and the difference favors you. PV wire carries thicker, tougher insulation rated for sunlight and heat, over solid copper conductors. It grades as premium insulated copper.
We have damaged and buried sections. Are they still worth anything?
Yes. Damaged, dirty, or buried-pulled sections still carry the same copper. Send them with the lot: condition affects handling, not whether it sells.
Do you buy partial reels?
Yes. Partial reels and short coils are completely normal. No reel needs to be full to be worth a quote.
I am a small installer with a season of offcuts. Is it worth calling?
Yes. There are no minimums and every coil counts. Offcuts accumulate into real weight across a season.
What about the connectors on the cable ends?
Leave them on. MC4 and similar solar connectors are part of the normal stream and handled in grading.
We are decommissioning a whole farm. Can you handle that volume?
