Condition is everything: intact stabs and clips, unbroken housings, legible amperage markings. Single and double pole, common amperages (15–60A), and full panel pulls sell best. Photograph the breaker faces clearly — catalog numbers let a buyer identify exactly what you have. Whole panels with breakers installed are welcome too; do not strip what you do not have to.

Are Zinsco breakers worth anything?
Yes — Zinsco is one of the most sought-after obsolete lines because the installed base is large and no new breakers exist. Condition and amperage drive the value.
Why would anyone buy FPE Stab-Lok breakers if they are hazardous?
Because thousands of FPE panels are still in service and their owners need exact replacements to keep them running until a full panel replacement happens. The controversy is about the panels; the resale market is about maintaining what is installed.
Do you buy the whole panel or just the breakers?
Both. Full panel pulls with breakers installed are ideal — less handling, complete inventory. Loose breakers sorted by type are great too.
What about Challenger and Pushmatic?
Also obsolete, also resalable. Challenger and Pushmatic (Bulldog) breakers have their own installed bases and their own buyers.
Should I test obsolete breakers before selling?
No — visual condition and correct identification are what matter. Never energize-test old breakers yourself; leave electrical testing to qualified people.
