WHY THEY ARE VALUABLE
Discontinued does not mean worthless.
Millions of Zinsco, Federal Pacific, Pushmatic, and Challenger panels are still installed in homes and commercial buildings across the country. The manufacturers are gone, but the panels are not — so every electrician who services one needs breakers that fit it, and supply only shrinks. That scarcity is why a used Zinsco or FPE Stab-Lok breaker can sell for more than a brand-new modern breaker: there is no new alternative at any price. Panel-changeout crews pull these by the bucket; most get scrapped for pennies. They should not.

We also buy related obsolete material: panel covers, dead-fronts, and main breaker assemblies from these lines. Condition: as-is and untested is fine — pulled-on-upgrade breakers are exactly what we expect. What matters is that the markings are legible and the bodies are intact: photograph the breaker face showing the brand and amperage, and the panel label if you have it.
HOW TO SELL

Lay the breakers out, photograph the faces so brand and amperage markings read clearly, count them by type, and send the photos through the quote form, by email, or by text. Tell us roughly how many of each amperage you have. We quote against the live surplus market — and because these lines trade on scarcity, clean lots with legible markings grade best. Are Zinsco breakers worth anything?
Yes — scarcity drives real value here. Zinsco panels are discontinued but still installed in huge numbers, so replacement breakers trade on scarcity.
Do you buy Federal Pacific Stab-Lok breakers?
Yes. FPE Stab-Lok is one of the most sought-after obsolete lines because the panels remain in service and no factory-new breakers exist.
Do the breakers need to be tested?
No. As-is, untested breakers pulled during panel upgrades are exactly what we buy. Legible markings and intact bodies are what matter.
What if I only have a few breakers?
Send photos anyway. Small lots are worth quoting — scarcity value means even a handful of the right breakers is real money.
Do you buy the panels too?
