What types of copper wire and cable do you buy?
We evaluate heavy feeder cable, insulated copper wire, THHN, Romex, building wire, bare copper, copper bus bar, bus duct, industrial and utility cable, and surplus reels. Send clear photos, jacket markings, gauge or conductor size when known, and the approximate quantity.
Do you buy copper wire in Colorado if you're based in Illinois?
Yes. Ironcrest is based in Rolling Meadows, Illinois and serves Colorado sellers by mail-in, parcel, and freight from Denver, Colorado Springs, Aurora, Fort Collins, Boulder, Pueblo and anywhere in the state. Pickup coordination is possible for large commercial lots. We do not have a physical location in Colorado — the deal is done remotely, starting with photos.
Do you buy new or unused wire on reels?
Yes. New, unused, partial, and surplus reels may have resale value beyond ordinary scrap value. Include photos of the reel tags, manufacturer, conductor size, length, voltage rating, and storage condition so we can review the right outlet.
How do I get today's price for copper wire?
Send photos, estimated weight or footage, material type, and your Colorado pickup location. We price each lot from current market conditions and the recoverable or resale value of the material, so public per-pound prices are not posted.
Can you handle commercial or industrial quantities from Colorado?
Yes. We review shop cleanouts, contractor overstock, demolition recovery, plant surplus, mining and oilfield takeouts, and recurring quantities. For larger lots, include pallet counts, reel sizes, access details, and whether loading equipment is available so pickup or freight can be coordinated.
