BUS DUCT & BUSWAY

Sell Bus Duct, Busway, Bus Plugs & Distribution Equipment.

Busway systems can be bulky, specialized and expensive to move. Ironcrest reviews straight sections, fittings, elbows, plug-in units and complete takeout systems so the material can be evaluated before unnecessary cutting or scrapping.

MATERIALS WE REVIEW

What to include in your submission

  • Bus duct and busway sections
  • Bus plugs and plug-in units
  • Elbows, tees and fittings
  • Copper and aluminum bus systems
  • Plant and warehouse distribution takeouts
  • Unused project surplus and spare sections

Start with photos, not paperwork.

For an initial review, send clear overall photos plus close-ups of manufacturer labels, part numbers or nameplates when available. Include approximate quantity, city/state, condition and your preferred timing.

Preserve value: Keep identifiable equipment and unused material intact until it has been reviewed. Cutting, mixing or removing labels can make resale evaluation harder.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you send the inventory

Should bus duct be cut down before selling?

Not before review. Intact sections, labels and system information can matter, especially when compatible pieces have reuse value.

What photos are most useful?

Photograph nameplates, manufacturer, amperage, voltage, section lengths, connector ends and the overall quantity.

Can you review a full removed system?

Yes. A layout photo, approximate linear footage and count of plugs/fittings can help establish the scope quickly.

HAVE MATERIAL READY NOW?

Send the photos while the inventory is still intact.
