Do I need an ID to sell scrap in Illinois?
Yes. Illinois law requires scrap buyers to record a photo ID for every purchase. Bring a valid ID — that’s the whole paperwork side of the deal.
Can I drop material off instead of waiting for pickup?
Yes — drop-off is always welcome at our Rolling Meadows location, and pickup is available across the Chicago area.
